Luis Orbegoso

Luis Orbegoso is President of ADT Business. He is responsible for developing and executing the company’s strategy to grow the security and automation segment serving small and commercial businesses. In his role, Luis focuses on delivering unwavering service and innovative product offerings that address business owners’ wide range of needs. Luis joined ADT in May 2013 as Senior Vice President of Small Business from United Technologies Corporation (UTC) Climate, Controls & Security, where he served as president of the Global Fire Detection and Alarm segment, which included responsibility for Edwards System Technologies (EST), Autronica and the Kidde Airsense businesses. He previously served as president of Lenel Systems International, a leading global provider of electronic access control software and hardware, which included the Guardall and Verex businesses as well as Casi Rusco following the purchase of the GE Security business by UTC in 2010. Prior to joining UTC in 2008, Luis spent 13 years with General Electric in a variety of sales, marketing and general management roles. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Cincinnati and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
