He joined the company in 1997 and has served in the positions of Vice President of Sales, Chief Operating Officer and President. He is a 34-year veteran of the Security Industry who began his career in 1980 with Rollins Protective Services in the Washington, D.C. market. He held a variety of District, Regional, and Corporate level positions which focused on the Sales and Marketing initiatives of this multi-branch (54 locations) corporation based in Atlanta, Georgia. Originally from Maryland, he earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland. Ackerman Security Systems is the nation’s 24th largest security company as ranked by SDM Magazine and has grown organically from approximately 8000 accounts in 1997 to over 104,000 today.
