Harry is a Shareholder in the New York office of Buchanan, where he serves as co-leader of the firm’s
Cybersecurity and Data Privacy Practice Group. Harry supports clients of every size with privacy,
AI governance, and cybersecurity issues, ranging from addressing regulatory compliance and tech
transactions to responsible AI governance and autonomous machine learning. Before going into
private practice, Harry was director of MetLife’s Global Privacy Office responsible for implementing
pragmatic solutions and operational privacy risk frameworks. He has been practicing law for over 27
years, was first certified as a Certified Information Privacy Professional by the International Association
of Privacy Professionals in 2004, and was recently certified as an “AI Governance Architect” by Logical
AI Governance. Harry is also the Chair of Practising Law Institute’s Artificial Intelligence and Privacy
program, and holds a B.B.A. from Bernard M. Baruch College, CUNY and a J.D. from Benjamin N.
Cardozo School of Law.
