Dennis Mathew is the Vice President and General Manager of Xfinity Home, Comcast’s home security and home automation business.  He is responsible for all aspects of the business, including strategy, business growth, operations, partnerships, product roadmap, managing the P&L and the Xfinity Home wholesale business.  He was also a key member of the team that acquired Icontrol in 2017.  In 2015, Dennis was instrumental in expanding Xfinity Home by integrating new partner devices from leading technology companies including August, Chamberlain, Lutron, and Nest, and launching the certification program, Works  with Xfinity Home.  In 2010, he played a key leadership role with the initial launch of Xfinity Home, which has more than 1,000,000 subscribers.  Dennis has more than 13 years of experience in the cable and telecommunications industry.  Before joining Xfinity Home, he oversaw launches for key Xfinity Home initiatives including DOCSIS 3.0 and wireless gateways, and he was a senior director in Comcast’s Internal Audit department.  Prior to Comcast, Dennis held management positions at PwC and Arthur Andersen, where he worked on a variety of technology advisory engagements across several industries.  Dennis was named a “Top  40 Under 40” executive by the Philadelphia Business Journal and Multichannel News.  He is a graduate of the National Association for Multi- Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC) Executive Leadership Development Program and a participant of Comcast’s Executive Leadership Career Advancement Program (ELCAP).  Dennis serves as a Deacon at Seven Mile Road Church where he is responsible for finance, property matters as well as services related to Mercy and Benevolence.  Dennis also serves as an Advisory Board member for Bombay Teen Challenge (BTC) where he helps raise funding and awareness to support BTC.  A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dennis holds a bachelor of science in Economics, Finance, and Management Information Systems (MIS).  Dennis resides in Bucks county, Pennsylvania with his wife and two children.
