Russell Cersosimo, CEO of Guardian Protection Services, one of the Armstrong Group of Companies, began his career in the security industry in 1972 as an installer. In 1975 he founded Guardian Protection Services as a one-man operation. Under his leadership, the company has aggressively pursued a business model that is not acquisition-based, but largely dependent on high quality organic growth methodologies. In both 2013 and 1999, Security Distributing & Marketing named Guardian its SDM Dealer of the Year. Today Guardian is the nation’s largest privately held security company with over 1300 employees and a ranking of #10 in the SDM 100.
