Alarm Industry and AFA Protective Systems, Inc.
Robert Kleinman has been associated with the alarm industry and AFA Protective Systems, Inc. for the past 40 years. In his capacity as general counsel of AFA he has personally litigated or otherwise been involved with virtually every legal issue facing alarm companies. Since 1995 he has served as Chairman of the Executive Committee and Chief Executive Officer of AFA. During the 1980’s he served on industry association insurance and legal committees, and during the 1990’s was Treasurer and later Chairman of the Ad Hoc Committee of Protective Services, a Northeastern collaboration formed to represent the industry in various legislative and administrative matters.
