Robert Holland

Robert Holland is an attorney with Buchanan Ingersoll and Rooney. His practice includes advising a wide range of clients, including in the medical alert, pharmaceutical, and healthcare industries, on the latest privacy and data security developments, most importantly the state consumer privacy regimes. Robert has been intensely focused on the California Consumer Privacy Act and other burgeoning state law privacy efforts over the past two years, as these legislative efforts and their implementing regulations provide a window into the future of the United States’ efforts to protect consumer privacy. He regularly assists clients to build and implement consumer privacy programs through policies and procedures, updated vendor contracts and due diligence procedures, customized training programs, breach response and cybersecurity evaluations, and consumer response plans. Robert is excited to share his expertise to advise the security and medical alert industries on how to address the latest trends in state consumer privacy.
