Kimberlite
One of the architects of Kimberlite’s success is President and CEO, Joey Rao-Russell. Shortly after joining the Sonitrol franchise in 2002, Rao-Russell assumed responsibilities for the operational management of the company’s Southern California operations. During her 20-year tenure with Kimberlite, Joey has worked her way up the ladder, holding several positions, including VP/GM Southern California and COO. She was promoted to CEO in December 2012, the position she continues to hold. Kimberlite has grown both organically and through acquisition. Kimberlite was named SDM Dealer of the Year for 2020. Joey is an active member of the industry, including serving on the board of The Monitoring Association and as Treasurer – board member of PPVAR. She is the past president of the Sonitrol National Dealers Association. Joey holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Sociology with cum laude honors from California State University Stanislaus.
