Glen Silvestri is a Partner at Imperial Capital Partners in Toronto, Canada. Imperial is a services focused PE firm with over 25 years of history and is currently investing out of its 5th fund focusing on deals with $50-200M in enterprise value. Mr. Silvestri leads Imperial’s Business and Consumer services team which focus on investing in security, software and tech enabled solutions for businesses or consumers. He is a career investor with over 15 years’ experience in private equity, 13 of which were spent with Teachers’ Private Capital in Toronto, leading its technology, telecom and media group and chairing its private capital investment committee. During his time at Teachers’ he sat on the Board of Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment, the NBA and NHL Board of Governors, Flexera Software and Q9 networks. Upon joining Imperial in 2014, Mr. Silvestri completed the investment in Ackerman Security whose early success has led Imperial to become more interested in the Security space overall. Mr. Silvestri holds a BA in English Literature from Western University, he is a Chartered Accountant, a fellow with the Institute of Corporate Directors and completed the Executive Leadership Program at the Ivey Business School.
