Steve Trundle has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Alarm.com since its founding in 2003. Under his leadership, Alarm.com has grown from an idea for a wireless interactive security system into a global leader in the Internet of Things space. In June of 2015, Steve led Alarm.com through an IPO. Prior to joining Alarm.com, Steve held a range of positions with MicroStrategy, Inc., including as Vice President of Technology and Chief Technology Officer. He began his career with the Bath Iron Works in Maine where he worked on the U.S. Navy’s Aegis Class Destroyer program. Steve is named as inventor or co-inventor in more than 25 awarded or pending U.S. patents, mostly related to his work at Alarm.com and MicroStrategy. He received an A.B. in Engineering Science and an A.B. in Government from Dartmouth College. Steve resides with his family in Virginia.
