The 17th Annual Barnes Buchanan Conference
It is hard to believe that the 17th annual Barnes Buchanan Conference is less than six months away!
We are delighted to announce that Alison Levine, team captain of the first American Women’s Everest Expedition will be our guest speaker at Thursday's dinner.
Alison Levine is no stranger to risk-taking. She has survived sub-zero temperatures, hurricane-force winds, sudden avalanches, and a career on Wall Street. Levine pushed her limits on the world’s highest peaks and became one of the most experienced female mountaineers in the country. In 2010, she became one of the few climbers to complete the Adventure Grand Slam -- climbing the 7 Summits (highest peak on each continent) and skiing to both Poles.
In addition to having tackled some of the most extreme environments, Levine has spent more than two decades in the business world. Her professional career has encompassed healthcare, technology and finance. After earning her MBA from Duke University, she moved to New York to work for Goldman Sachs. In 2003, she left Wall Street to serve as deputy finance director for Arnold Schwarzenegger in his successful bid to become Governor of California. Levine currently serves as an adjunct professor at the United States Military Academy at West Point in the Department of Behavioral Sciences & Leadership. She also has her own consulting firm. We are excited to welcome Alison to the 2012 Conference!
Looking ahead, we are in the process of arranging the same caliber of informative industry speakers that you have come to expect from our event. Keep an eye on your inbox and our website, www.barnesbuchanan.com, for Conference updates.
