Adam Wicks is a shareholder in Buchanan’s Pittsburgh office and leads the firm’s national Private Equity and Venture Capital practice, overseeing the representation of private equity and venture capital firms, independent sponsors, family offices, search funds and other sources of private capital. As a member of Buchanan’s Security Alarm, Fire and Medical Alert practice group, Adam has been advising companies and capital providers in the industry for almost ten years. Adam maintains a robust business transactions practice focused on representing these clients and their portfolio companies in capital-raising, corporate development and M&A matters. Additionally, Adam serves as outside corporate counsel to clients ranging from startups to publicly-traded companies, advising on entity formation and corporate governance, financings and offerings, M&A, fund formation, and federal and state securities law compliance. Adam is a graduate of Penn State University and Boston College Law School.
